I have a celebration of life to attend this afternoon for a good friend who passed away unexpectedly last month, followed by a dinner with friends. Youtube is saving me, and I'll get to watch later tonight. I've missed games live before, of course, but I frankly don't feel the least bit put out by having to wait to watch. I have zero expectations for today's game. I'm hoping that change signals a change in outcome.

It's funny...a lot of people that really follow football and the B1G are really excited about this game. This B1G blogger has been giddy w excitement about USC Nebraska all week, bc he thinks it's so unpredictable after the changes on both teams..

Yup. I talked with a neighbor who is a diehard USC fan. He does not expect this to go well for them. He said that they might have the worst OL in all P5 and that's why they benched Moss - he isn't mobile enough to sit behind this bad of an OL. However, he said this this new QB is Jeff Sims 2.0 and cannot secure the ball to save his life.
I told him that Nebraska is happy to help get him back on track lol.
All that being said, people act like Nebraska is the only flawed team. I would argue that this is the rare occasion of Nebraska playing a team with more talent than them, but also more flawed than them.

i wait 8 months a year for football season, i will watch or listen to every game no matter what.
We have a guaranteed 12 games a season - that is not very many. You spend a lot of time on this Husker board, but you want to not watch one of our 12 games a year? I get we have stunk to high heaven for going on a decade or more, but not watching shouldn't be an option.

I'd be lying if I said I was not going to watch. We'll see how the first half goes.
We're limited games so I'll watch as many as I can. I can go do other things when football season is done. Plus I'm a gluten for punishment.
