Anyone doin the Murph this weekend?

Will do it tomorrow, hopefully can do it Rx for the first time after dying through 50 pull ups last year. Under an hour would be preferable.

Haven't done it, I might try. Not sure about making it through the pull ups, though.
Just get er done. I usually break em up into 20 sets of 5 honestly. This year I got impatient at the end though and did the final 25 just in a row with a break in the middle.

Murph is an excellent way to watch the non- elite pretend to do a lot of push-ups, pull-ups and air squats in between mile runs.

It was always cute watching the air force and navy folks try on body armour and try to keep up. I used to whack off like it was my last day on Earth back in the barracks!

I do a mini version similar to this every week called 30 in 30. Basically, you do 5 pull-ups, 10 push-ups, 15 squats. Whatever time is left in your minute is your rest. Do that 30 times in 30 minutes.

Are you allowed to break the Murph up like this? Or do you have to do each exercise to completion before moving to the next?

Do those of you who do the Murph wear the weighted vest?

I did something similar to that back when I couldn't afford a gym membership. It can be a killer work out.

I do break up my morph into sets like that. Depending how ambitious I'm feeling on pull ups I'll either do 10 or 20 sets. I think it's pretty common for most people.

I wear the vest for everything but the run. I used to wear it for the runs too, but my body is not cool with that at all anymore.
