We were in first class from Denver to LA on Christmas (upgraded; I'm not an actual rich person) and the two seats across the aisle had a pair of sisters who were probably late high school or early college age flying by themselves. They were each wearing $800 sweat suits and they were complaining to the flight attendant that they should get reimbursed because their seats didn't recline.

For starters, their seats definitely did recline, they just didn't know how to make it happen. I know that because I was trying the same thing they were until I figured out how to do it. If they weren't being such little cunts about it I would have told them how to do it. Secondly, I had to chuckle at them asking for reimbursement for a portion of the airfare that they very clearly didn't pay themselves.

People like that really make you happy to be around them
