Here's a brag for you. I literally wrote the book on what should be taught in high school cybersecurity courses. Not a book actually, but a set of guidelines paid for by the NSA.
As others have said, if you like any field of cybersecurity, you can make cash money. The certs get you in the door, but you might need a degree to move forward. If looking at schools, be sure they are CAE accredited.
UMGC and DSU provide great online degrees.
