A billion dollars is going to be deposited into your account on Friday at 5:00 p.m. What will you do with the money?

Buy a house on the north shore of Oahu and become Kunu from Forgetting Sarah Marshall
extra too much GIF

id donate 95% of it to childrens hospitals, well programs, donu athletics, local schools. then id keep running my cowherd & raising my family

Wow you’ll never post on tPB again?
I’d set up a trust to pay out to charities I care about. Throw my phone into the sea and live my life without an worries or bothers

Prolly set up something where I cover the costs for the board on my absence

I’d hire someone to run a charity for my wife and I. Id hire a chef. I’d buy 10,000 acres in the Williams Arizona area and start building a cabin. I’d sell my place in Nebraska, move to Arizona full time. Buy a membership at a fancy ass golf course. Then start my new life of fishing for Lake Havasu Stripers, living in the cabin in the fall/winter when Elk and Deer season are going on and golf the rest of the year.

So I guess a billion dollars would just push my retirement plan up 15 years and come with a charity, a chef and a lot more land.

A million makes it a reasonable question. A billion is so much that unless you dream of buying a pro sports team there is pretty much nothing you can't do

Call @God is a Husker or some other highfaluting tax attorney and shield that shit. Set up a charitable foundation - stack the board with friends and family - and proceed to give most of it away.

Not sayin' I'm not going to splurge on a few things - I'm going to - but that's stupid money and I'd be compelled to try and use it to make a difference in the world.
id buy some newer farmin equipment and get nancy a pedicure

Spend it all on shitty college houses around the country charge double for rent make my money back and then some fast then sell them all once I doubled my investment. Then buy my own island go in hiding from the irs for not paying capital gains tax

Find a high yield stash and live off 1/50th of the interest for the rest of my life. Prob build a building for my seminary with part of the rest

I'm buying a lot of ground in Idaho,Wyoming, and South Dakota. The rest will be spent on real estate in a warmer climate, and I want a huge ass yacht

1) Buy land and build a my dream house. I'm a bit of a prepper, so it will be a fairly modest home, but stocked to the nines with all my prepping desires.
2) Pay off all of my immediate families' mortgages
3) Set up a trust for each of my kids
4) Give A LOT to my pastor
5) Build my church a new building
6) I have a few non-profits I support that I'd like to help too
7) Give a sizeable amount to my employer - they have been very good to me and my family
