We don't get to see any tits and ass anymore. So let's talk again on where you were on 9/11? We've all put it out there before, but is interesting?

Took 1 semester of french at southwest. I still feel like I’ve mastered the language while absolutely butchering it always
I couldn't tell you any more than anyone off the street.

Watching film from the previous nights JV football game. Walked into my English class when the 2nd plane hit.

2001 was my last summer in Lincoln, I moved to Montana that fall. But I was still building houses that needed to be finished in Lincoln, and we were framing the last house I had going there. I was at Fastenal (I think it was Fasental - or a similar nail gun store) buying framing gun nails and sheathing gun staples (we were finsihing up framing a house). They had a small old-style TV there and the guy working said "have you seen this"? I hadn't yet, as I was driving across Lincoln (we all know how long that can take) to get the nails and staples so my crew and I could finish up the framing job. I watched stunned as this unfolded. I then called my employees and told them to shut everything down, pack the tools into the job trailer and call it a day. Calling it surreal is accurate, but surreal can at times be taken as good/positive, but this was not a good/positive surreal.

I will never forget watching the towers burn and fall on that little old style TV in that store.

I was in 3rd grade. Recess got cancelled. We were all pissed because they wouldn't tell us why, and we didn't know/understand. Figured it out later that evening watching the news with my parents. Don't really know when I fully understood it but it was later on down the road.

7th grade social studies @ Scott middle.
Pulled us out to the pods and had us watch tv.

Looking back, the amount of gas lighting teachers started at that time is wild. Threatening students they will be fighting a war if they don’t take school serious.

I was a week on the job at MDS Pharma Services, trying to book my travel to Munich and Hamburg for the next couple of weeks. Had an old school alarm clock radio on my desk that I would use to listen to Sports Talk. They broke in to talk about a horrible accident of a plane crashing into a building in New York (at that time they had no idea what was really going on). About 30 seconds later, the whole internet came to a halt and I couldn't get my travel booked or even a site to load. Then the 2nd plane hit and we knew that something serious was going on. We told all of our employees to go home and be with their loved ones. I just remember driving back to our acreage in the country and turning on the TV and watching stuff about it all day/night long. It felt unreal and like I was living in some movie.

I was in 4th grade and we did the opposite. We got sent out for a special recess while all the teachers were talking. I knew it couldn't be good because they let us play a lot longer than usual. We got out early and when I got home and turned the TV on I figured out what happened. I was glued to the TV the rest of the day.
