Nebraska's offense looked good statistically, but it couldn't score. Offense that was top 30 turned into bottom 30 as soon as it entered the red zone. That plus all the things you said.Nebraska's offense kept them in every game last season, was in the top half of the league in rushing, passing and offensive efficiency. Nebraska's primary issues were game management, mistakes and terrible special teams.
Frost was a bad coach and deserved to be fired, but the current offense is atrocious. It looked good against bad teams but is incapable otherwise.
Interestingly enough, this year our red zone efficiency is much better, but our offensive production is much worse.
