Sign Up Now!I’ve been wondering this for some timeHow many wins do we have?
Why? Was Scott a better people/time manager than Mickey?I thought about this today, probably more than we have now to be honest.
He could actually scheme a run game better than this trash heap Whipple uses. Only reason I pondered it.Why? Was Scott a better people/time manager than Mickey?
Really? Is that like a pile of shit A vs pile of shit B?He could actually scheme a run game better than this trash heap Whipple uses. Only reason I pondered it.
i agree with you here, Scott was not a good head corch/Leeder because he was too stupid to make a change at DC.Why? Was Scott a better people/time manager than Mickey?
The run game under Whipple has been awful. Flat out, awful. Frost's run game could actually not get stuffed in the backfield for a 2-3 yard loss every play.Really? Is that like a pile of shit A vs pile of shit B?
How do ya figure? Chin had the only respectable unit on the team last year (helped in large part by several super seniors). If Frost wasn’t an idiot he wouldn’t have brought his entire staff over. Chin and Greg Austin would have been told to pound sand and he would have gotten real assistants right off the rip.Chins should have been fired last year along with the offensive "offensive" staff, and Frost should have made BB DC.
You're right, but Chins had some good players (6th year seniors) last season. This season he got exposed. But for sure Chins should have been fired with Frost after the 3rd game this season. How do ya figure? Well Scott played NW and GS the 73rd and 129th ranked DefensesThe run game under Whipple has been awful. Flat out, awful. Frost's run game could actually not get stuffed in the backfield for a 2-3 yard loss every play.
He hadn't played a top 50 D rocket, thats not the same as post FrostThe run game under Whipple has been awful. Flat out, awful. Frost's run game could actually not get stuffed in the backfield for a 2-3 yard loss every play.
Did you watch all last year? The Offense was the problem.Frost's offense was not the problem. I preferred it to Whipple's. Swapping out assistants was all window dressing for what we knew would be the inevitable firing of Frost.
If Frost was kept on, we probably have a better offense, one or two more wins, but not substantially different. He'd still lose us some close games with his inept ability to lead and manage.
If I'm being honest.. NattyHow many wins do we have?
Yeah, if Bob Stoops won a natty at OU in his second season, Urban can top that and win it in his first season. Ok, maybe second season. If I'm being honest.. Natty
Talking overall and basic creativity in the run game. Our run game right now consists of draw, inside zone, and outside zone, with very little read components.Well Scott played NW and GS the 73rd and 129th ranked Defenses
Post Frost we've played the 1st (2nd), 2nd (7th), 7th (10th), 12th (11th), 27th (59th), and 35th (27th) ranked Defenses with 6th (tied 17th) to round out the year.
Yeah I wonder why Frost could run so well on those teams, must have been his excellent play calling huh 🤔
Total D rankings with run defense ranking in ( )
Nebraska's offense kept them in every game last season, was in the top half of the league in rushing, passing and offensive efficiency. Nebraska's primary issues were game management, mistakes and terrible special teams.Did you watch all last year? The Offense was the problem.
