Side note. I wonder when Kurt Ferentz retires and they turn the reins over to Brad Ferentz if Brad will hire an offensive coordinator. Also will the d coordinator be pissed off it wasn't him and go somewhere else.

My feeling with that is, just like Joe Paterno at Pedo State, Ferentz wants his kid to take over but the admin will never allow it....so captain Kirk will never retire. Also like JoePa, Kirk is probably covering up some pedophilic activity by his staff....especially his kid.

Much like the Bill Snyder situation at Kansas St where Bill wanted his son Sean the Special Teams Coach to take over for him but nobody at the university wanted him trying to run the program. To say Sean was unpopular with the players and administration might be an understatement. One of his former kickers is a buddy of mine and he used the term "Arrogant Self Centered Douche" when describing Sean to me.
