I do recall their fans in Lincoln in 2005 being very chippy. Most opposing fans that have never been to Lincoln (back when NU had a winning program) were simply happy to take in the experience and accepted a loss. The Pitt fans I sat next to were all in on talking shit and didn't take that loss well.I honestly didn't know this many people cared about Pitt football. It's Pitt for fucks sake.
I was in tech sales at that time, and had a remote colleague who was a Pitt grad. Our wager for the game was the loser had to serenade the winner with their team's "fight song". To her credit, she interrupted the sales meeting on Monday and dutifully belted out a stirring rendition of "There is no place like Nebraska".I do recall their fans in Lincoln in 2005 being very chippy. That was one god awful game between ex-NFL coaches.
Their cost:win ratio is lower than DONU.9.5mil coach 😂

If Frost teams had half the mental conditioning and mental toughness that Mel’s team have we would win the west every year.
It doesn’t happen by accident and it isn’t luck that they are able to finish games
Lol what?!
You’re probably right since the best 3-9 team ever should have beat them.Sparty has to be one of the worst 11 win teams I’ve ever seen.
Yes, Callahan/Wannstedt.Callahan vs…Wannstedt?
I assume Pitt fans are mostly used to going to NFL games where everyone acts like an idiot.
They say that the Pitt vs WVU games are really bad “Backyard Brawl”
What do you mean?Taking same blue print that Georgia and Bama use- I think we can all safely say it works.

I assumed you meant the Saban blueprint for recruiting. That’s interesting.Google Trevor Moawad. Saban started working with him before his run at Bama. Kirby Smart implemented it at Georgia and now Tucker is using same blueprint at MSU.
What's the gist of it?Not sure- I know Eichorst made all the athletic department read Energy Bus (huge waste of time).
But yes it’s very interesting- highly recommend spending some time listening to his podcasts or reading his book.
How to have a neutral mindset and stop negative thinking. His big thing is to stop saying stupid shit out loud- once you say it out loud it’s 40-70 times more likely to happen. Gives the example of Bill Buckner botching a soft ground ball and basically losing the World Series. He was on a radio show 9 months before and said his biggest fear was having a ground ball go through his legs to lose the World Series. Buckner was a 10x golden glover…. eerily similar to frosts “ same movie” bullshit we heard all year, telling smothers not to turn the ball over at half vs Cockeyes, telling team at half vs CU In 19’ to not blow it. He’s got a long way to go before he’s going to be successful.
Obviously more to it but there’s a reason winners win and losers lose.
