Wouldn’t have played much this upcoming season. His time was up. Wish the boy luck in something other than football.

I was wondering this as well. Wasn't Nelson a huge Frost guy? Probably don't want guys that could potentially not be all bought in with the new staff.

I don’t know anything about 3-3-5 but Nelson seems too slow to fit the 2 OLB spots & bulking up for DE would only hurt his NFL chances.

Dude should’ve transferred somewhere but I can still see him still going rounds 5-7
