Weird to throw this out there publicly at the end of the portal. Makes me think he definitely fished for a bigger bag but didn’t get it. Not to say he shouldn’t have fished. But announcing he is back today seems tacky to me.
In all reality we won’t know what we have until October. We filled some holes and we have to see players on the roster develop to fill others.
It was said earlier, but outside of your top portal guys, who knows what you will get.
I’m not saying we won the off season, but I’m not putting us down for a losing season either. I hoped for a bunch of home runs, but games can be won with singles and doubles too.
Lots of new faces on the roster and in the coaching room.
Until then, basketball and baseball for me.

Or we finalized our deal with him after all relevant parties approved.
Signing contractual agreements isn’t exactly something that can be done in 20 minutes.
No your blind determination to always fluff our head coach no matter who it is until the bitter end doesn't allow you to understand the point of my original post.
You seem to always immediately view yourself as the end all be all authority in every conversation you have. Then when someone doesn’t echo your exact thoughts back you immediately label them the enemy.
It’s actually impressive how consistent you are in doing so.

BuTiTsBeTtErThAnFrOsT So we should be happy was the gist of your post. You obliquely admit things aren't great but you tried to get on me by suggesting that my post was without merit. Why are we even having this conversation if you agree with me?
You said Rhule was “blowing shit up”, which I disagreed with.
The two best coordinator hires have bolted. You can use Tony Whites performance at FSU to white wash things but its undeniable he was doing a great job while here. People tend to forget just how bad the defense was the year before Rhule and Tony took over. Tony and his staff took essentially the same dudes and turned them into a top level squad. This is a fact that can't be denied. Rhule wanted him gone after the season was over, hired Butler (ha fucking ha) to replace him and squeezed his balls until he left for Florida State. Eckler turns the same dudes that were comically bad into a top level squad in one off season and now because of "personality" differences is leaving as well.
Both losses are directly due to Rhule's ego and not liking it when other coaches get more credit from fans and admins than he thinks they should. But you will never believe this until Rhule stands at the podium twirling his mustache and giving a speech about it while punctuating with evil laughter.
I also have to kind of wonder if Rhule ever did get an offer from PSU. We will never know of course but if he didn't then he is most definitely kind of shady. From what I can see from this portal season the biggest accomplishment was more money for him. His speech about having the resources to compete for the top transfers not withstanding. Because that seems to be a bunch of horseshit as we budget our way through portal season.
There are more issues but I honestly don't care enough anymore to try to bring them to light. There are more than enough in the way of red flags to make anyone not determined to support him regardless of reality pause and look. Just like Frost I wanted Rhule to succeed. Sure he's better than Frost was but if that's your only metric then stop calling me.
