I think Stoops would be a good coach at Penn State. Defense would be legit. Would need a good to great OC, but damn if KY doesn't usually cause multiple injuries for UGA almost every year. They play tough and mean despite talent they were able to bring in. His biggest issues at KY were getting a capable QB. When they've had one theiy upset teams and punched above their weight, something Franklin wasn't doing. It won't happen of course, but if coaches keep getting "retained" at their current schools then

@NCsker I know doesn't sound like a sexy hire, but if Nebraska went against KY every year I'm betting you would agree. Tough D's almost every year, lines of scrimmage kind of guy, and well respected by other coaches.
