Just went back in to check. A couple people claiming this but PSU4U seems to be most adamant.

I know nothing about this guy so it could just be a random throw a dart against the wall guess. Another poster had posted flight tracker info trying to back it up, but that flight got cancelled.

On paper, no. But every great coach had to get their start somewhere I guess? And all had a point in their career where there was no reason to believe they would do anything.

But on the surface it appears they fired Franklin only to replace him with a downgrade. If Chesney ends up being the guy.

I guess you don’t really. Could be a downgrade or upgrade, just have to see how it plays out. In any case I don’t think it’s a clear upgrade.

If Chesney is the guy it will very interesting what his staff looks like. IMO one mistake some small school coaches make is retaining their whole staff instead of seeking the best available coaches on the market.

IMO, it's to our advantage Chesney brings his entire staff as it allows us to land Terry Smith.
