At this point, we need to do whatever it takes to keep Rhule here for 2 reasons:

1) Nebraska will be way down on the pecking order of jobs available.

2) Portal SZN and finalizing ‘26 classes is going to be an absolute FEEDING FRENZY. Being able to take advantage of that with an intact staff will be huge.

Really good point with #2. Hadn’t thought of that; but could have a huge impact.

I’ve pondered #1 quite a bit; could that almost be spun as a positive? Dannen wouldn’t have to worry about making a splash; he would just need to find a good coach.
