I honestly think that we went conservative to not put too much tape of Dylan out there. The staff know what he can do, no point in giving the Big 10 that film up 28-0
Might be some of it.

But we also need live game reps of stuff we are planning on doing later in the season. And we should also put enough on film that opponents know they have more to worry about than what we showed so far. We maybe just played super conservative trying not to do dumb shit to lose.

I am torn on if we held back that much, or if Sat just isn't very good (OK, he's not very good, more like is he just simply bad). How much is on a true Frosh QB vs a QB who has experience. Dylan looks more competent at playing QB than anyone we have had in a long time... even if he is super green. But it is only his 2nd game ever. And he makes a ton of really good decisions. Very, very high QB IQ to go alone with a ton of talent. Best pure QB talent that we have likely ever had. He is only a Frosh.

Overall, I do wonder how much more Sat has in the bank. Or if he just doesn't really have it in the bank, and we will be fighting that while Sat is our OC.

We won by 18. Should feel good. I was gonna crank out a workout after the game with the endorphins poppin, but now not feeling it.

But we won, really pounded the hell out of CU. It feels good to win big and still feel somewhat bummed. Because despite the crappy 2nd half, we are still a lot better team than last year.
Oh I’m definitely cranking one out after this win

I think the O has a lot more to show. After last year I really think Rhule wants to keep people guessing. Our defense is good enough to simulate “game reps” I think.

Real test will be in 2 weeks against Illinois. I think that Raiolas real big breakout game.

What is most concerning, is are we gonna be jeckyl and hyde. Play like Tarzan one half, play like Jane in the other. Being up 28 at the half, was hoping for a 40+ total score on our part. We did have a 69 yd TD taken back. And so many other penalties killing other scoring opportunities where we would have likely scored on some of those.

We will see as the season unfolds more.
