Imagine demanding millions and holding schools at ransom just to end up at Sacramento State.

I’m not sure I’d say his situation was holding schools at ransom. He was told he’d get a bunch of money. The school told him to sign and they’d figure out how to make him whole. They couldn’t get close to the money they told him they’d pay him. He felt lied to and wanted to leave. His next two stops didn’t hold anyone ransom to what I know. He wasn’t jumping for pay days.

I've often thought about this and wondered if God gave us 10 years of specialist pain so we could truly appreciate how great Sam and nearly everyone who came before him was at Nebraska.

Why are we acting like EJ is anything more than being an ok back? I’d offer Brown the same deal EJ’s on & tell them they’re splitting carries and I’d be surprised if Brown doesn’t end up being better.

Why are we acting like we know if Brown will be anything more than an OK back because of what he did in FCS?

Remember King Fraizer? He was a walk-on to Nebraska who barely sniffed the field (12 carries in two years). He trasferred to North Dakota State (Brown's school), and became an all-conference running back.
