I think it will do the kid good to get away from home and grow on his own. I don’t blame his parents, the kid has had an awful past and they continue to be overly protective of him into adult life. Maybe being in Lincoln under their umbrella wasn’t the best environment for him going into adulthood and being a D1 football player.

You knew shit was going to go south after the way things went down at LE in high school. Add that to the fact that he was always “injured” and rarely practiced. No bueno.
