One would figure they would engage with 1890 before entering unless there’s something that prevents it. I’m clueless and I think it’s something else we are not privy to or Rhule is a hard ass and doesn’t give them ice cream with sprinkles or country club membership Gate 55.What if all these players are just trying to get paid like Ty and Nash? Like, they expect to come back with more $$
Death Row 4 Life#DR4L....Dylan Raiola 4 Life? Demons Rally 4 Lyndsea? Donkey Raunch 4 Loco?
Rule of thumb for now..I know this idea probably won’t help calm people down about players leaving even though we KNEW we had to trim the roster by about 1/3 but we are Husker fans….. we freak out…..
@HuskerGarrett Any way we could compile a list/spreadsheet of current roster departures that would include whether they were asked to leave (whether due to roster limitations or other factors) OR if they left on their own? I know that would require substantial help from insidehers to gather that type of intel so it may have to be its own thread in the premium side. I also realize that we may not get that information on every player that leaves.
One more leftWait until Prince, Lenhardt, and Williams enter
SEC teams (including the new members Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma) in 2023 averaged 121 players on the roster, according to their own websites. That ranged from a high of 137 (Alabama Crimson Tide) to a low of 105 (Missouri Tigers).
I just said to someone today that the days of knowing players names are over. Too much floating in and out.I’m sorry and I know this is how it is now but this flat out SUCKS. I used to know every player at every position from first to third string. This is turning into nothing but a damn JUCO. Different players every year. It’s nothing but a business now and I get it but they better get some sort of reigns on this thing or else just turn it into the NFL model with salary caps and the whole thing.
All we heard is how we had to get to a bowl game and how bad the players wanted to turn this thing around. Well we finally get to a bowl game and the players all kiss the program goodbye. Just makes me sick.
Hopefully his replacement has more sacks than offsides penalties.
Hausmann has a NC ring; I don’t think so.Speaking of attrition......
Are there two guys who made bigger mistakes in leaving Nebraska than Ernest Hausman and Tamon Lynum?
TW would have turned EH into a fucking monster and Lynum would have been a starter this year. Or at least would have played a ton of snaps each game.
