People have speculated more and more schools will do away with Spring games as they basically serve as a forum for schools to come tamper with guys that “show out” in the spring portal period

Yeah I had hoped to bring my kids to a spring game in the near future as a “trial run” of sorts before bringing them to a real game. Alas….

Dean must have gotten the early nugs on this because he was talking about it last week? on one of his podcasts. He was saying with all the money they have wrapped up in these kids and with the 105 the spring games were probably going to go away.
