I think I agree. Because if Nebraska pulls off that upset then it may springboard them into an 8 win type of year.IMO, Minny is the most important one for us this year
I'm with @Bootleg11. Minnesota is a huge game if we win but not huge if we lose. I think the biggest game for where we are as a program is at Illinois. That's a game we really need to win and should tell us if we're a top 50% West division team or a bottom 50%.IMO, Minny is the most important one for us this year
The tweet was about most important conference game. CU game is super important too though.I'm with @Bootleg11. Minnesota is a huge game if we win but not huge if we lose. Colorado is also a huge game if we lose. If we're 0-2 after Colorado that will be pretty brutal.

Why Illinois?
If we lose Illinois it probably confirms we're still 5th/6th/7th in the division. It's also tough to get to a bowl game without that win imoI'm with @Bootleg11. Meh, all games are important but I just don't see any way that Illinois could be considered nearly as important as the Minny game.If we lose Illinois it probably confirms we're still 5th/6th/7th in the division. It's also tough to get to a bowl game without that win imo
Exactly. The Minnesota games sets the tone for the entire season with how we play (and hopefully beat the used car salesman). Its is the most important game IMO.Meh, all games are important but I just don't see any way that Illinois could be considered nearly as important as the Minny game.
We can lose to Minnesota and still win 7-8 games. Whereas lose to Illinois and we're probably not making a bowl. And we'd be starting off more likely than not 0-3 in conference.Meh, all games are important but I just don't see any way that Illinois could be considered nearly as important as the Minny game.

I agree Minnesota is a huge game. Probably #3 to me. But a bigger game to me is one you can't afford to lose, and to me that's a game like Illinois or Purdue.
