Why would it? NAIA schools are 4-year institutions.

Covered in more detail above, but it's not about it being a 2 or 4 year instituion. It's about being under the NCAA umbrella or not. NAIA schools, like junior colleges, are not NCAA members so they should affect (or not affect) NCAA eligibility in similar ways.

Since the limit doesn't hit till next academic year (and is still preliminary), and the portal is going to be jammed with guys getting processed, it's possible some dudes are going to stick around until the end, either trying to move up for a roster spot, or on the hope that there's some stay/change in the House settlement.

Probably gonna have a lot of names that nobody has called just quietly drop off the roster, though.

What changes between now and the start of the fall Semester? Maybe nothing, and if so this could be a really unfortunate off season for a lot of kids who’ve jumped in the portal.

For Nebraska, and nearly all P4 schools, the roster management itself turns into a bloated version of the NFL, without a practice squad or the ability to sign a replacement in season. Big decisions coming, plus we need some luck in the development and health departments.

I'm a sicko, so I made this chart detailing the road to 105. Feel free to comment on anything I may have missed. But we still have a lot of guys to cut, 28 to be specific, to get down to 105. And even more than that because we're probably still going to add guys from the portal.

David Pollack says he thinks UGA could end up with 35 leaving. NFL and portal, but I imagine 105 lends some of this to walk-ons that can't keep now.
