#1 recruit in the nation going to....FCS?

I absolutely hate saying this. But they would never hire Deion because of his personality for one. I think a lot of people in charge of the program still have that "good ol' boy" mindset. And two, yeah, of course I'll always wonder if we'll ever hire a black head coach. Of course it'll rile up some people in the state unfortunately.
We had a black head coach a few months ago, dude. Nobody cared.

This stupid narrative can go die in a fire.

You were on the verge of making a good post but then you ruined it by pulling in the race card. No one cares about the head coaches skin color. They want wins. But yes, his personality would have clashed very much with Nebraskans.

Also I’m not jumping off the Rhule bandwagon at all, just that I love PrimeTime
Why would anyone after 1 game?

I was a huge fan of prime the player. I was a huge fan of prime the HBCU coach. I hate Colorado though, so there's that.

My current stance is, "We'll see". He won a road game against what could end up a mediocre team (this is definitely not the same TCU team). The only thing apparent is that he improved CU a lot in one year, which is quite an achievement.

I am very curious if it's sustainable. I would rather have a program builder than a quick fix and leave. I don't know if Rhule or Deion fit that bill but I would guess Rhule is closer to that.
