#1 recruit in the nation going to....FCS?

Yikes, Florida State is a bigger mess than Nubs.

If Frost fails next year.

And Nebraska had a chance to hire Deion Sanders as their head coach...not that he would take it...but would you be ok with that?

I’m kind of surprised somebody during this coaching cycle didn’t make a serious run at Deion.

He is basically just the recruiter, fund raiser, rah rah guy. Get him legit OC/DC and cook.

I can think of several schools that made worse hires IMO. (Ex: LSU and OU)

I'm not all that surprised honestly. They allow him to have complete and total control over everything he wants to control. I doubt he has to kowtow to boosters or anything like that like he would at P5 schools. They let him do pretty much whatever he wants and that includes his relationship with barstool, which I think has benefitted him and their program quite a bit. I think it's also really important to him that he's coaching at an HBCU.

Deion is definitely one of those guys that you love when he's on your side but hate when he's against you. I think in general he's grown up a lot from his playing days and seems like a really good guy.

I can't say I know much about his "coaching". He is obviously an elite recruiter in the FCS ranks. I know Jackson State did well this year and he won coach of the year. But, I kinda also get the "Slick Willy" feelings around him and not sure how good he would actually be at running a major program. However, I would definitely be ok with giving him a try if for no other reason in that he would draw in recruits and add some great entertainment.

He is probably the nicest/most well respected dominating trash talking athlete from the 80s/early 90s.

Like compare him with any of the Miami guys or other FSU guys or Boz at OU, etc etc. Deion is like one of the only ones that people like/respect off the field.
