People bring up the game he had in Lincoln because it's obviously the one we all watched. He did better in basically every other game. I mean against possible national champion Indiana he went 27/33 for 243 yards, 1 td and 0 int. AND ran for another 50. He has potential.
But he's boring and I don't want him.

IMO Lagway still has a huge ceiling. Floridas coaching was god awful. I’d be ok with him knowing full well next season we are going be a shit show.
Any chance we can get peak and heard? If you cant land those guys then this program isnt serious.

I’d take Nebraskas offensive staff over floridas as of now. Our oline has been absolutely abysmal. Can’t outscheme it forever.
3 year career back up finds himself with a choice:
A: Go to Nebraska and compete for the starting position. NIL acceptable level
B: Go to Kentucky and start and BTW what color did you say you wanted for your second Lamborghini?
Kid got offered a lottery ticket and took it. Totally makes sense. He needs to cash in as much as possible because this seriously could be his one and only chance to get paid big $$$ for football.
Side note: Pat Stewart needs to hold a press conference and explain exactly what he is doing for a $800k salary. This was a game winning drive Adrian Martinez fumble level gaffe.
Additional side note: ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS be skeptical of the commit who hasn't visited yet. It's the biggest red flag. I even let my guard down on this one thinking QBs just want to move fast in the portal to secure a spot. Minchey burned me.

And agreed on embarrassment for Pat Stewart. I'll say it again....a big part of recruiting is perception. I don't care if Stewart wasn't in love with KM....you still can't get humiliated like that. It's bad for your brand.
What happened tonight is pretty common: a kid made a decision, then got offered more money, then changed his decision. That happens all the time! But other schools are smart enough to not get their program/HC brand bashed and humiliated in the process.
