I'd say I'm more appalled than surprisedWhy would it surprise you if his dad was shopping him mid season? To be fair Rhule was shopping himself mid season too.
ExactlyIf NIL isn’t funded at a high level it really doesn’t matter who we bring in as we won’t have the dudes to consistently compete. I would think we would struggle to attract a good staff with poor NIL in a situation where we need to over pay for at least a few years to win.
You've just elimitated the entire concept of being a sports fan. I shouldn't care about outcomes unless I am directly involved in deciding the outcome? Life might be more peaceful that way, but extremely dull. No thanks. You can get right out of here with that kind of talk on a paid college football message board. It’s easy unless you’re a player, coach, staffer, or a billionaire with more money than sense. If you no control over the outcome, why care about the results either way?
Shoot, he's probably the guy who said we couldn't give Minchey what he's getting from Kentucky. Also we have a GM making 800k/yr
How's he doing tonight? LOL
“We’re fine. We will just get a QB out of the draft” -GMShoot, he's probably the guy who said we couldn't give Minchey what he's getting from Kentucky.
I love the team and love watching them play but at the end of the day there is nothing in my life that is any different if they win or lose. People that their day get ruined over something they have no control over are weird IMO.You've just elimitated the entire concept of being a sports fan. My guess, he knew that he was Kentucky’s backup plan and withheld that info from us. He delayed his visit to Wednesday bc UK told him they’d have an answer on Leivett by then. We said sure, no problem, we trust you Kenny. Then he got the call from UK with a higher offer.

Let me hold your dick while I tell you this … Nebraska doesn’t have that kinda luckRemember how Penn State and Michigan kept getting turned down and were on the verge of becoming national laughingstocks with their coaching search? Then they basically lucked into hiring two really good coaches after being turned down by their A list?
I am hoping Nebraska's quarterback search ends up like that.
You wanna hold his dick? Okay jimLet me hold your dick while I tell you this … Nebraska doesn’t have that kinda luck

No doubt he fucked us. But the portal is a signing business, not a committing business. You can’t leak that you found your qb when he’s not signed. They have to know better. If you agree to terms with someone, send him the papers, he publicly announces he's coming, then he disappears & refuses to sign or answer your calls till he's already sealed the deal with someone else, I'm not sure what else you can do.
The kids agent definitely just laid it out for him as it developedNo doubt he fucked us. But the portal is a signing business, not a committing business. You can’t leak that you found your qb when he’s not signed. They have to know better.
The very first step is for him to sign. And if he’s not signing, despite telling espn he’s in, then you start leaking that you’re still in the market so you don’t end up looking the fool (and maybe pressure him to honor his commitment).
They are trusting a 20 year old represented by God knows what sort of fringe agent to shoot them straight. It was naive.
I find myself wondering if they heard he was sniffing around Kentucky. If they did, and didn’t head this off before it blew up in their faces, that’s bad. But it’s also bad if they don’t have the contacts to hear what’s going on. There’s no way there weren’t people in the qb market who knew what was going on with the Tech/LSU/Kentucky chain of qb interest.
Minchey definitely seems like a bad actor. But we did not play this smart at all. He can’t be the first duplicitous qb in the market, but somehow we were the first to get embarrassed like this.
