I think in this case he is using it because he is responding to Sipple, who has a habit of calling everyone "Amigo." I doubt Sip has any idea who Sam-I-Am is.

Have we considered that maybe TT DOESN’T know how to recruit the transfer portal but just waits to see who is on Rhules draft board and then offers them $1 more?

No, that cannot be correct. Your sources must be playing you Unk. We have it on good authority by very intelligent people on this board that Rhule messed up and none of Aurich’s players are following him here.

If we don’t bring in a high quality RB, I’m convinced 2026 will be the beginning of the end for Rhule.
I’m willing to look dumb with this comment but portal has been a dud so far. Nebraska had to be one of the top teams in the portal rankings for this team to be competitive next year considering all the holes on the roster.
They are 8th or 10th right now in portal rankings….
Yeah not good enough with the sample size this small (2 commitments). The width and breadth of targets isn’t there, additionally I would set the arbitrary ranking at closer to top 3. Look at what IU/TTech is doing currently, we need to be acquiring players at that rate.
Thats how bad this roster is.
If we don't land a good one we'll have the worst RB room in p2. Will be ugly in '26 if that is the case.
