What the hell do you guys want him to say?
Why do all the podcasts and national interviews. He’s trying to keep us relevant in conversations and our fans are just drooling at the mouth trying to dissect everything little thing he says.
Fans are insane. They hold Rhule accountable for everything he says publicly, as if it is his job to be 100% transparent and open with the fans, spilling the unfiltered truth as he sees it.
People need to think about what his job is when they pass judgement on what he says. To act as these fans expect would be dooming himself to sure failure. His job is to say things that improve the team's chances to win, not inform the fans.
Whatever Rhule says now doesn’t matter. I assume he said it because he got some assurances when our administration got played that PSU was going to hire him. All I’m saying is recruits don’t pay attention to some stupid press conference with Rhule but Husker fans do. If anything Rhule put the heat on himself saying that.
My nephew was dating a girl who was working directly with Turd/NiL dept when it first started. She said it was a complete shitshow. Underfunded, unorganized and had little direction. That week Dean was telling everyone NU was top 10 and among the leaders in the nation. Complete and utter bullshit yet the waterheads ate it up.
You can say that but I bet we still spend more than Cockeye and Minnesota yet they whoop our ass. I bet for what we spend on NIL we still aren’t as good as we should be.
I agree with you guys. I'm just saying that a lot of fans and media aren't going to read between the lines and take what he said at face value and hold him to it later on.

That’s it. For several years Dean has opined about our NIL as if we’re king money and can spend with anyone. But all results and indications from our coaches would suggest that Dean doesn’t know his ass from his elbow. (probably true) But now…
Now… We have someone other than dipshit Dean saying we have the money. Our head football coach to be specific. And as a HC you can’t come out and say you have everything you need now, and then botch the portal. That’s gonna be a death sentence in today’s CFB. Time to make it happen Rhule.
