I'm with you here. I'm ok with some combination of Nelson, Mozee, and a top transfer RB. Give me the best OL you can buy and some guys that can get separation at WR.
Oh on D we need 4-5 DL, 4-5 LB AND 4-5 DB
There's really not a spot we don't need upgrading. Spending priority I would think goes to the OL/DL, and overall to the defense.
I don't know why you guys are so invested in the portal when we can only take 6 transfers
I would still be nervous only getting one RB from the portal, especially if it isn't a big name
We are HOPING that Rhule is planning on processing some guys and sending them to the portal lol
Also, legit question, how does the “grandfather” rule work here with the 105 when adding more? Can we add more than the 105 since some of our current roster is here under the grandfather rule?

The grandfathered dudes have a designation & never count towards the 105 either on their current team or their new team if they transfer.
Per @Carm, every team in the NCAA can see who has that designation (although it's not public knowledge). So an incoming transfer may potentially not count against the 105. Exact numbers will be a bit murky until 3-4 more years go by & all those guys are out of eligibility.
I think we scared him off. Haven’t seen a single post from him since @Carm brought the facts but he still kept doubling down on his stance.

Doss is washed. Family friends daughter was dating him in Lincoln. Moved to Lawrence with him and stopped getting any NIL funds from KU because he sucked. The girls mom is now having to front their bills for time being.
id rather hit home runs on OL and DL. that gets us bowl eligible next year more than anything else we could add in the portal
Can't be an either/or thing, if it is then we don't go boweling
i can promise you I am going boweling this year regardless of portal adds.
I do think we can get to 6 with Minchey or TJ at QB with an above average OL and the returning players we have at WR and RB unless we lose more at those positions. I agree I want a legit RB add too. But just saying I would rather hit BIG in the trenches and be average everywhere else if I had to pick.
