What the heck is NW doing? Assembling some kind of all-star offensive staff?
Maybe that’s an exaggeration, but this guy walked on water for a while after he took over UCLA’s offense.

Not sure I want the Chip Kelly offense that I saw at UCLA or the Raiders. UCLA’s offense got better, but not great by any measure, after Chip left for OSU. But hey, NW is taking a new approach to things I guess. 🤷‍♂️

What are the odds we replace Rhule with another career .500 coach? 100%?
Since hiring Bob Devany, Nebraska football has only hired one (1) head football coach with CFB head coaching experience and a winning record at the D-1 level.

Sadly, that was Mike Riley who barely stepped over the .500 winning threshold.

We routinely fail to go after the very top coaches in the sport. Not the “best available”, but the top guys. Make #1 say “no”, then move on to #2, etc. It’s exasperating to watch.

Frost and Rhule were both at top of those lists
