Why are we watching Ole Miss destroy Tulane even worse than they did 2 months ago?
If they had to have Tulane and JMU in the tournament, why couldn’t they match JMU against Ole Miss and Tulane against Oregon. Would anyone really give a shit if they flip flopped JMU and Tulane’s seeding/ranking? No, who cares, they’re both gonna get destroyed by 40, at least we wouldn’t be watching a rematch gang rape.

I don’t think he saying they shouldn’t be in the playoffs. Just overrated and seeded too high. Also, I don’t care that Alabama won, they didn’t belong. Oklahoma didn’t either. Notre Dame (and I hate ND) would’ve rocked both those teams.
And lastly, if the media/SEC Ponzi scheme didn’t rank half their conference in the top 15 we wouldn’t end up with a choice between… 3 loss Alabama, shitty 2 loss Oklahoma, and an overrated 3 loss Texas. Those teams are only in contention for the playoffs cause the media put them all in the top 10 to start the season.
There’s quite literally no other options besides the SEC teams everyone wants to hate. ND can’t say shit either cause AnM beat em in their own building.
I think they should keep them in. The moment you exclude them they’ll start bitching about how good they are and how unfair it is. Let them get shamed each year.
It’s these stupid poll voters. They see high win totals and equate that to being good. I don’t think JMU or Tulane are top 40. Would either of these teams be favored in games against Penn State, USC, Cockeye, hell Nebraska?
The fundamental problem with G5 teams isn’t how good they are, it’s just unfair to put them in when auburn or Minnesota is probably doing just as good vs their schedule.
Yes, because many of them were overrated and artificially placed in the pre-season top 10-15 by the media. I explained this, we wouldn’t have the choice between Alabama, Texas and Oklahoma if they didn’t ranked 10 SEC teams in the top 25. Those teams should’ve never been ranked between 11-15 come seasons end. But due to the SEC/ESPN Ponzi scheme that’s what we ended up with.
Tell me who should be in front of them that’s behind them.
