WBC makes champions essentially pay a fee to hold the belts.
Bud, imo rightfully so, said f that. They don’t fight he did.
Also, he knows he the goat and doesn’t need a physical belt to show it so and wasn’t gonna fight again in that weight class anyway so he didn’t pay the fee to hold on to the belt.
Boxing belt rules are super gay. He beat everyone worth mentioning in 5 weight classes spanning 35 lbs. Absolutely cleaned out every contender in that range.
