God forbid the guy who’s been doing that job for decades and has only seen shit basketball get excited on a buzzer beater 3. It was a road game top 25 matchup. Pavelka has earned the right to react and make any guttural noise he wants.Accurate af. Listen to the Illinois version and see what real play by play in that situation should have sounded like. Homer or no, you are being paid in that role for a reason. I also assumed so screw-bauchery had occurred when he went full blown tuorette.
Great postgame commentary from the Peacock team
If you’re Kent you have to lean in on that now.Top 15?
Kent feel free to keep doing trippy foot nail polish vids.
Yep—and if you’ve ever really listened to KP, his reaction tells you everything you need to know. If you think otherwise, it’s a pretty good sign you haven’t spent much time listening to games called by KP. And if Lawrence had missed, that call would’ve sounded completely different.God forbid the guy who’s been doing that job for decades and has only seen shit basketball get excited on a buzzer beater 3. I can't really blame anyone for not being a complete believer in the Huskers. Too much history. That said we are going to keep tearing shit up. No doubt in my mind.Love Jordan Cornett. He was talking about "pace and space" when everyone else was talking about how poorly Illinois's bigs played on defense. Well, there was a reason for that.
THIS. It's like the Peacock guys actually watch the games vs. look up what the preseason narrative of each team. Seth Greenberg is a dope. The Gerry DiNardo of CBB.Dude, their actual analysis before the game, at half, and post-game was excellent. Its almost like they watched the game and did their homework.
Seth Greenberg for ESPN acted like he was unaware that Coach Hoiberg had a son on the team.
Good listen with Sam Hoiberg from this morning….
Not at all. You said you don't remember a buzzer beater in your life. I was simply pointing one out.Are you saying that was a bigger shot?
TTU was mediocre that year and so was Nebraska. This yrs Ilini is a Final Four pick.
Garcia playing right now doesn't have anything to do with Essegian's injury.I am well aware of different positions, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t impact who is in the rotation. When Essegian was healthy he was 8th man in rotation and we were going smaller lineups with him on court. It’s no coincidence Garcia only started getting minutes when Essegian got injured. He has taken full advantage of it and it’s more balanced rotations as a result.
Garcia would not be playing if it wasn’t for Essegian’s injury.
That's the one I always think of. Can never remember his name though.Jamar Johnson hit one against #3 Kansas in Lincoln. Circa 93
The Illini are little bitches.
Certainly if he was shooting like he had been. .258 from 3 and a liability on defense isn't getting you many minutes.Essegian is a terrible defender so his minutes were going to be down in conference play.
lol. Frager has an edge to him and talks a lot of shit. Don’t think Frager’s little bump into him there wasn’t intentional as that is 100% something Frager would do (and I love it). We need someone like that on our team. What a punk
