I do see a couple stats that concern me. GT was #4 in the country in red zone scoring percentage. Sounds great, right?

But the problem is, they were #87 in red zone touchdown rate. And on 4th down conversions, they were an abysmal #124. Sounds like they had a lot of trouble getting a real push at the line when they needed it?

More goes into those rankings than line play, like distance, play call, execution by non O lineman, but sure.

Excellent work though. We’re already concerned about our new universally lauded O line coach and he hasn’t coached here yet.

I don’t know. Maybe our New Years resolution should be to not start degrading a coaching hire or player until they’ve actually done something poorly in Lincoln.
