Just noticed on PFN, they have him as a second round pick right now. I know if doesn’t mean anything, just thought it was cool.
I would add in that our OL run blocking was improved. However Emmett did a lot on his own and he will be missed if he leaves this year. I would be very surprised if he stays. He improved from ‘24 to ‘25 on the things I said were keeping him from being considered elite.
I don’t know if it was hard work, physical and mental maturation or both, but he won me over.
Yea,...wow...that's up there for a kid his size. He's elite, but he's going to need to find a team who wants to use him like they used Ameer...as a specialist. I'm not sure he survives in the NFL as an every down back. He would have to put on some serious weight for that. He's listed at 183, but I'd be suprised if he were that heavy. I mean J.J. Taylor is the lighest RB in the NFL now and he's 185, and he has elite exceptional speed that Emmett doesn't have.Just noticed on PFN, they have him as a second round pick right now. I think he finds a roster, but 2nd round? Not seeing that.
