49ers

How we feeling?

Couple things:

1) I am absolutely THRILLED with our record given the injuries we've had.
2) This Aiyuk contract thing is crazy. If he's been completely absent from everything, then I'm glad they did it.
3) Unfortunately the Rams are playing really really well right now and the division is a battle

@Seaofred92 do our Panthers have a chance at the upset tomorrow?

Thrilled with the record like you are given the injuries. I think we will make the playoffs. Rams will win the division.

Missing too much on defense in Bosa and Warner to make a deep run. When you have two all pros that anchor your defense and they’re both done for the year, it’s gonna be real hard.

I think we win a wild card game and probably lose in the divisional round.

Fuck Aiyuk forever. Guy is not a top 20 wr. He def isn’t post injury. His hold out last year was dumb and his behavior is also dumb.

I think we make wildcard. But I don’t think we have the horses to win it all. Though this year seems open for a surprise team.

Rams are really good this year. Stafford is playing out of his mind. It helps he has Nacua and Adams is playing at a top 15 level. I think rams actually win the sb this year if they stay healthy.

Niners inability to stay healthy for the last 8 years is unreal. They need to make wholesale changes on the med and training staff. Something is off.

I feel like Niners are wasting cmc and little in what could be their final prime seasons. Unfortunate.

Yeah is it the training staff? Do we just have injury prone dudes? What is going on.

I saw somewhere a while ago a stat that actually reflected that we were in fact the most injured team in the NFL over the past 5 or so seasons.

Something weird is happening.

The San Francisco 49ers are not the most injured team, but they are consistently ranked among the most injured in the NFL. While they were the most injured team in 2024, data from 2017-2025 shows they have the second-most games missed due to injury (1,600), behind only the New York Giants (1,638). The 49ers have been in the top 10 for injuries in six of seven seasons between 2018 and 2024. [1, 2, 3, 4]

• High-ranking injury numbers: They have a history of being one of the most injured teams, with analytics showing a high number of games missed due to injury.
• Year-by-year variations: Despite the overall trend, the team was significantly healthier in 2023, which coincided with their Super Bowl appearance.
• Specific seasons: According to Warren Sharp's analysis, the 49ers were the most injured team in 2024 and 2020, and ranked in the top 10 in 2018, 2019, and 2021.

The bad piece of the injuries in that time is it has been the top players to boot which causes even worst issues. You can only next man up so many times in the nfl.

Got Dayum I wish we could run play action how the Niners do. I just like the Niners offensive scheme in general... a lot. Bring that scheme to Lincoln.

I was just thinking about how great the Niners scheme would be in Lincoln.

But instead we have Matt Rhule who had no idea how to use CMC.
