It would have been a closer game but we're not winning with 6 points either wayProbably would’ve/could’ve helped us stop Minnesota from breaking off some of those huge runs and kept us in the game.

It’s notStarting to feel like we just have to accept that what we’ve seen the last ten years is reality.
There’s a reason that we are constantly battling with Minnesota and Northwestern and not remotely a threat to a better team. Maybe this is just what this program is now. Maybe, unfortunately, those are now our peer programs.
A few years ago we were looking longingly at Wisconsin when they were always in the national conversation and a threat to win the conference or at least make the title game. Now we look up at Cockeye and imagine if we could be where they are, in the tier just outside of relevance, that would be an improvement.
We’ve tried all kinds of different coaches and ADs. We’ve thrown money at assistants. We got a 5 star qb. But the program stubbornly remains in the big ten’s lower middle class.
The consistency of the mediocrity across regimes is probably trying to tell us something at some point.

And then we cry that we don’t have any NIL money. Would you donate to a program that just throws your money at a new coach every two years.? That is not sustainable and a good way to run it into the ground in my opinion. It’s not
We just need to do what all the other blue bloods have in down times:
Cycle through coaching staffs until we hit again
Good news is winners win right away. So it will continue to be obvious both ways (like it has been with the losers we’ve hired since Bo).
Anyone who says it takes time ect ect ect is trying to convince themselves against actual time tested reality
Just wish we’d stop extending losers for no reason and stomping on our own toes
Oh shocker, another good player helping the team that you don’t like.

Again, relying on Markway given his injury history is a mistake. It hurt us this year. I think Ingwerson will end up at OT, Nelson hasn't shown anything yet, and Sorenson will be a tFr.You’ve got LL coming back and he is better than average. He’s our current starter and has been really good this year. Markway coming back (maybe 🤞🏻) along with Carter Nelson (don’t give up on him), Ingwerson, and Sorensen coming in. Is your suggestion that we should have 7 scholarship TEs on the roster?
Where is Hunter going?
Cunanan doesn’t have an elite leg but he’s accurate. He’s been the best we’ve had a PK in quite some time, there’s no need to replace him.

Rocco Spindler came here
Tbh Boerk really fucked us over and we would’ve been in amazing shape at the position if he had stayed. Like you I would love to see us add a difference maker there, but I’m not gonna be upset if those funds get redirected to OL/DL instead.Again, relying on Markway given his injury history is a mistake. You do make a good point about the #s though, 2 TE is too many, and TE is less of a need than most of the other positions. Still would like to see us try to improve the position but understandable if we don't pursue anyone there.
Remember when he said our line was more talented than ND?Rocco Spindler came here
Exactly thank youFinally, someone criticizing our coaches for the really important things
We need to stop forcing manball. We don’t have physical advantage there and it hasn’t been an effective strategy since Rhule got here. My biggest complaint with his tenure here. Let Holgs go full Holgs. No doubt
I also think we need to let Holgorsen have full rein over his offense. This shit looks way way way too similar to Satterfense for me to think he’s actually being allowed to design/call the offense he was an expert at for all those years
I don't know the phrase manball but I agree anyway. HahaWe need to stop forcing manball. We don’t have physical advantage there and it hasn’t been an effective strategy since Rhule got here. My biggest complaint with his tenure here. Let Holgs go full Holgs.
Dillingham is winning games with Jeff Sims. We have not been running a QB friendly system for 3 years.
Agree that we haven’t seen the true Holgs offense. Think it’s been a Rhule run heavy hybrid. We need to stop forcing manball. We don’t have physical advantage there and it hasn’t been an effective strategy since Rhule got here. My biggest complaint with his tenure here. Let Holgs go full Holgs.

He’s completely disappeared the last 2 monthsOh shocker, another good player helping the team that you don’t like.

Harbaugh style offense, if that helpsI don't know the phrase manball but I agree anyway. Haha

I’d like to see (if we aren’t) 100% Holgs offense.
Question that itches the back of the brain revolves around can our current o-line provide protections required…or…does his full offense mask our o-line deficiencies and allow for success. Probably somewhere in the middle.
I also believe that in the B1G you have to be able to consistently run the ball effectively.
Meanwhile, here in reality
Pelini: 7 years
Riley: 3 years
Fraud: 5 years
Rhule: will probably get 5 years
