Can they even add that time back as live play occurred from the missed free throw? That's like calling a player inbounds in football then they spike the ball on 2nd down and adding time back on because on 1st down the runner was actually out of bounds.

To be abundantly clear: there probably really should have been 1.2 seconds on the clock at the end.

The issue though, is that not changing the clock during the stoppage immediately following the dead ball is against the rules, and if you are going to bend those rules, it’s a very slippery slope.

If we can now go back 2 plays and adjust the clock in the final seconds, can we now go back 3, 4, or even 5 plays? When Fred called a timeout with 24 seconds left, should we go back and review that to make sure we go the exact amount of time?

This is akin to a football coach throwing the challenge flag on 3rd down for a call that was made on 1st down. It would never be allowed. It’s just flat out wrong and immoral.

If they were going to change the clock, that MUST have been done during the free throws. The moment the second free throw left Sam’s fingertips, the clock from the previous possession is obsolete.

Hopefully Ugnius will be healthy soon and can start taking some of Berke’s minutes. Wish they would tell Berk no more 3 pointers, shoots an awful clip and usually rushed and bad shot selection.

Essegian also needs to get head out of ass. We get stuck in a rotation with no Lawrence, Pryce or Mast and unless someone steps up we are just relying on Frager’s scoring during that stretch.

I still can’t get over how good Frager is. Dudes going to be an all conference player by time he leaves Lincoln. He has it all skills wise with great athleticism and size.

The truth is we need him and he’s very important to our team. I have no intel on this, but something tells me that Oogie is going to look lost out there if we can’t get him in some of these non-con games. I’d rather break him in against Maryland East Coast than Michigan St

Berke does a lot of dirty work. If his shot falls some nights, great, if it doesn't I don't care. Just taking a few keeps the defense out of the paint which opens up the rim for everyone else
