We will go after transfers there just isn’t anyone in the portal yet.I guess why not go for transfers if that’s the goal? Seems like juco guys might be riskier?

No yeah, I get that. I just don’t recall seeing this many juco offers in the past few years. Kinda figured juco recruiting was dead…We will go after transfers there just isn’t anyone in the portal yet.
We’re on a quest for the next King James WilliamsNo yeah, I get that. I just don’t recall seeing this many juco offers in the past few years. Kinda figured juco recruiting was dead…
It is definitely a strategy that Rhule hasn’t used as much before as he seems to be doing now.No yeah, I get that. I just don’t recall seeing this many juco offers in the past few years. Kinda figured juco recruiting was dead…
Spend wisely and be selective with high value portal players? May be a GM driven strategy idk.I guess why not go for transfers if that’s the goal? Seems like juco guys might be riskier?
*weekSeems like we’re really hitting jucos hard this year.
The transfer portal isn’t open.I guess why not go for transfers if that’s the goal? Seems like juco guys might be riskier?
Right, but we theoretically have a limited number of roster spots availableThe transfer portal isn’t open.

You don't like JuCo recruiting or what?Right, but we theoretically have a limited number of roster spots available
Yeah its definitely aimed at a position group it appears minus the one hogYou don't like JuCo recruiting or what?
Guys who’ve actually played football seem like good targets. Looks pretty targeted on LB/Edge.
Dude I was just asking a question. Legitimately curious about the strategy. You don't like JuCo recruiting or what?

Sorry, strategy seemed pretty obvious to me: Add more experienced players that you like to the roster.Dude I was just asking a question. Legitimately curious about the strategy.
I get the concept in general obviously, but my question was more aimed at juco vs transfer (both avenues to get more experience on the roster). Just don’t hear a lot about jucos these days. Not like the old days when half of KSU’s roster was juco guys.Sorry, strategy seemed pretty obvious to me: Add more experienced players that you like to the roster.
Seems insane that they'd be able to retain 6 commits on the DL. Especially without a single senior in their 3-deep, running a 3 man base front.Unfortunately Georgia (6 DT commits) has already snagged the #1 Juco DT but he is only rated a 3 star so I don't know if there are others worth an offer.
Rhule doesn't seem to offer a lot of Juco guys. It looks like they are a little late to the party with these but still might be able to get some visits.
Juco's don't seem to get the attention the way they used to in the portal era. It might be smarter to go to a smaller school and work your way up. Like a NDSU or SDSU for example.
You notice how you don't hear about recruits that are academic risks as much anymore? Probably another reason Jucos aren't as popular as before.
I'd bet it has something to do with money and timing. I'd imagine jucos probably don't demand as much as transfers so if your evaluations are similar, you look at the juco guy first. As for timing, I think maybe you want to see if you get any of the juco guys in the boat before the portal opens and then you have a more complete picture of what holes you still have.I get the concept in general obviously, but my question was more aimed at juco vs transfer (both avenues to get more experience on the roster). I’m curious if it’s mostly guys who were not academic qualifiers in high school or just underrecruited coming out of high school.I get the concept in general obviously, but my question was more aimed at juco vs transfer (both avenues to get more experience on the roster).
