Northern lights looked pretty cool tonight!
They're pretty cool. Last night was the first time in my life I've ever seen them in person. Caught my neighbor on camera wandering across my driveway and I went out to say "hey" to him, and he's standing in the middle of my front lawn impersonating a Pez dispenser (head back, staring at the sky).

We looked together for a few seconds, and I remarked "Wow, I've always wanted to take a trip to Iceland and be immersed in them", and he turned and looked at me immediately, "Iceland - OMG, I sooo wanna go to Iceland, too!"

We also immediately determined that we'd get a better look at them if we drove out to the country to avoid suburban street lights, so we grabbed the families and drove up to 156th & Dutch Hall Road, where roughly 1/3 of Bennington had also gathered to view them. They weren't as spectacular as the photos you shared, but amazing nonetheless.

Time to book a trip to Iceland!

Text me if you need Iceland advice. My wife and MIL are from there.

That's from the plane window. Didn't look like much of anything when looking at it.
