I'd like to think our coaches can tell the difference between a starter and a backup ... but I'm glad TJ is the backup and hopefully that same coaching staff takes advantage of HIS skill set as they prep him for UCLA and beyond. Hope the kid tears the Bruins a new asshole with his play.

Voted No, no one should vote yes, and I wanted to see TJ go in during the Minnesota game. Even though I voted no I'm very intrigued to see what TJ can do with a gameplan built for him. Something I've been thinking about this morning is how will the fans react if TJ hits someone deep for a 60-70 yard TD 🤣 . I know how some of my relatives will react.

No, but given where our season is likely heading (6 to 8 wins), this may not be the worst thing that could happen. My heart hurts for Dylan as he stepped out on a well compensated limb to bring us back to prominence and has been bludgeoned in the process. He was not our problem, but I'm not sure he was the solution either. If our NIL is truly limited, we need to see what we have. What do we want to be offensively? I'm not sure we know. Maybe this gives us a glimpse into some off-season decisions.

in the short term, of course not. how many reps has he even been getting with the 1s? but i think this team is where they're at record-wise more because EJ is a stud and our pass defense has been incredible. offense has definitely not been humming. will be interesting to see how much of a drop off we have, can't really afford much more.

if by some miracle lateef rattles off 3 wins to end the season, is DR even here next year?

My yes is a potentially. I'm much more in the maybe category.

My thought...Can it be that much worse?

Basically in our effort to be great at everything we are great at nothing.

LaTeef may just fail. But I argue that the result might have ended up the same. I think we should have some grace in our expectations for an inexperienced freshman playing his first meaningful minutes on the road in the Big 10.

Dylan is like seeing a girl that gives you head. Then she gets arrested for prostitution and you have to get head from another girl. Even though it's alright, it's just not quite as good and you realize that now.

Agree with all of this. I have no faith that we will win any of our next three games and that would have been the same with DR at the helm. I'm hoping that mobility at the qb position will offer up some advantage for our offense that we didn't have with DR. Not sure what Lateef has to offer other than that. But I've seen him throw a few nice balls in backup action so im hopeful that he will be an adequate passer.

Well, accept you can’t really lose at getting your dick sucked. Hopefully TJ is better at sucking dick than you think…

Besides the fact that literally every stat you cited here is wrong, yes, it was worse each of the past 5 years.

We are at 33 ppg, 388 ypg, 253 pasing ypg, 135 rushing ypg.

Yes, it can be much worse. The main category being turnovers. Dylan improved greatly in that category this year and we're positive on the year, the first time 2016. (we were even in 2019)

Our YPG and PPG might increase under Lateef but so might the turnovers, and that's usually not a worthwhile trade-off.
