Raiola - Fibula

Believe he's from Missouri, actually.

Look at the bright side of all of this:

1. No more pressure on the team or Rhule, since the Rhule Year 3 storyline is gonzo and we are for sure out of the playoff hunt, so the whole team can YOLO

2. Lateef can come in and YOLO like Tommy Armstrong. Holgerson can YOLO too, try some new things out

3. We can all focus on next year and the future, which is what we are accustomed to doing anyway
I’m guessing we’ll see a lot less zone with TJ at QB so the deep ball will probably be there more often.

If you look at what USC did when Lateef came in..... They played a lot of man to man and loaded the box to take away EJ. Our receivers had a difficult time getting seperation.
Yes. But man USC’s CBs and DBs were absolute monsters.

Question for the smarter guys: all I’ve known Holgo for is air raid, I felt Rhule had some mobile QB’s at Baylor? Does Holgorson have any history of zone read, RPO type stuff?

He has run a fair amount of rpo stuff for Dylan this season. I'd imagine they'll lean heavier into simplifying the reads for TJ and putting pressure on the D with him as a possible runner

ran it a ton with Geno Smith when he was at West Va
No they didn't.

RUN THREAT: Smith scrambled for 253 yards and averaged 7.2 yards per scramble in 2012. But the run wasn't a big part of the system for the Mountaineers. Smith attempted only 11 designed rushes in 2012 and averaged 2.6 yards per rush on those carries. Jets perspective: After drafting Smith, the Jets indicated they could install some read-option packages for him.
