Raiola - Fibula

Here's how this plays out. We win one more regular season game. Lateef plays pretty well, enough to show as his talent and get us excited. We win the Sargento String Cheese bowl. Lateef gets poached by some BigXII school that needs a starting QB. Donny somehow keeps his job but we commit to spending big on OL in the portal. We bring in some good guys and get excited about the line's potential in the off-season, after all we were just an O-Line away from being a good team this year. Game 1 comes around, the Ohio bobcats sack DR 9 times.

Only a couple BigXII schools can afford to poach Lateef if we make the necessary commitment(s) to NIL funding. Only TT and maybe TCU. Oklahoma st might be a long shot if they open up the pocket books with a new HC and new philosophy towards NIL.

Basically TT is the only team that can for sure buy B1G/SEC players from well funded programs. I’d be more worried about out another B1G or SEC school taking him.

That back shoulder throw was on point to Hunter. Bro just wasn't ready for it.

The timing will come. Excited to see what happens.

Yup, it was right where it was supposed to be. It just got there a half second earlier than Hunter is used to.

Not even worried about it until he wins the game

I think Lateef is pretty talented. Strong arm and pretty mobile it seems.

That being said, a true freshman having to now start the rest of the season (3 games) is a tough ask. Hopefully we tweak the gameplan using his mobility as a weapon or threat to loosen up defensive sets against us.

You can often walk or put weight on a more minor fracture or “partial” fracture. It will hurt like a sumbitch and you’re risking further injury/fracture. But as long as the bone is still set in place and the fracture is not completely through the bone, you can put some weight on it and limp around. This type of fracture heals fairly quickly and people come back to 100% capability and strength.

More serious fractures are a different ballgame. Alex Smith and Joe Theismann had the absolute worst case scenario. They had career ending compound fractures to both the fibula and tibia. As we all know Alex Smith almost died.

TLDNR; the fact Dylan was walking/limping on it and trying to run on it is a very good sign. He won’t be back this year obviously. But he should be back to full strength and capability in 6-8 weeks. Some quick healers come back from minor fractures in 4-5 weeks but it’s generally not recommended.
Need to know how accurate this is…

Are you a doctor? Or PA? Or trainer?

Also - in one word sum up your thoughts on Covid19 ( please don’t answer this, it will turn this into the Lot)

I’d have way more likes if I posted useless horseshit like:

“we would’ve definitely won if xyz didn’t happen!”

But I’m not a nutless cuck with no clue what he’s watching

We’re incredibly soft and it’s a direct reflection on our soft, feelings-first Team Mom Matt Rhule

Was only a matter of time before nepotism hire Unqualified Uncle Donnie (who is only on staff because of feelings) got his nephew seriously hurt. Everybody on the planet could see it coming.

What I really hate is the fact that I want to wave this off and say things will be better and adjustments will be made...but I know that fucking feeling will hit in autumn that I should have known better.

We still have a few games to play, maybe this team will pull their heads out of their asses and play up to their capabilities
