Sign Up Now!I thought he had a couple of nice back shoulder placements on deep balls that were catchable but the WR didn’t turn back in time. Hopefully a week running with the 1’s helps him with that timing.Going to force Holgorsen to trust Lateef. We didn’t give him much of a chance last night. He can be a lot better. The one downfield pass they let him throw actually looked great.
We aren’t better off without Raiola, but we aren’t nearly as bad off as the effort last night made it seem.
You mean you don’t trust Dean? Lol. According to @HuskerGarrett, water boy said pretty much the same thing. I doubt you hear anything official from Rhule until Monday. Is there any solid info about Raiola’s injury? Exact injury, status, etc.?
We were told broken Fibula, most likely done for the year last night. We didn’t want to post that info until it was more solid but it sounds like Sean heard the same thing. I’ll still hold out hope that it’s wrong but that’s what waterboy heardIs there any solid info about Raiola’s injury? Exact injury, status, etc.?

Did he say anything about Pritchett? We were told broken Fibula, most likely done for the year last night. We didn’t want to post that info until it was more solid but it sounds like Sean heard the same thing. I’ll still hold out hope that it’s wrong but that’s what waterboy heard
No but I’ll askDid he say anything about Pritchett?
Where would you rate Raiola as a BIG qb this year? I’m in the camp Raiola isn’t a stiff, but he isn’t one of the top qbs in the league. You’re wrong on one of those statements.
He was walking on it last night. So I don’t know if it would be broken. He was walking with a noticeable limp
He was outplaying Maiava up to the point he was injured. We’ve had the better QB in every game we’ve played IMO, even Minnesota.Where would you rate Raiola as a BIG qb this year? I’m in the camp Raiola isn’t a stiff, but he isn’t one of the top qbs in the league.
Maiava is probably the only qb that’s better than him on the season they’ve played. He was outplaying Maiava up to the point he was injured. We’ve had the better QB in every game we’ve played IMO, even Minnesota.
I have him 6 or 7. I would take the Washington, Indiana, USC, Oregon, Illinois, and OSU qbs over him. I’m sure you could argue against a couple of those qbs, but Raiola isn’t a top 3-4 qb in the league for sure.He was outplaying Maiava up to the point he was injured. I spiral fractured my fibula in college and I couldn't bear any weight on it. I doubt his is that bad. Bet he's in a boot for a month and has a chance to be back for the bowl game. You can often walk or put weight on a more minor fracture or “partial” fracture. It will hurt like a sumbitch and you’re risking further injury/fracture. But as long as the bone is still set in place and the fracture is not completely through the bone, you can put some weight on it and limp around. This type of fracture heals fairly quickly and people come back to 100% capability and strength.
More serious fractures are a different ballgame. Alex Smith and Joe Theismann had the absolute worst case scenario. They had career ending compound fractures to both the fibula and tibia. As we all know Alex Smith almost died.
TLDNR; the fact Dylan was walking/limping on it and trying to run on it is a very good sign. He won’t be back this year obviously. But he should be back to full strength and capability in 6-8 weeks. Some quick healers come back from minor fractures in 4-5 weeks but it’s generally not recommended.
Waterboy confirmed that Dylan broke his fibula and is done for the year.No but I’ll ask
You’re overlooking Sorsby who has played great this year.Maiava is probably the only qb that’s better than him on the season they’ve played.
Drake Lindsey did outplay him in Minnesota.
But Nebraska has really only played 1 good qb(Maiava) and 1 could be really good qb(underwood) on the season
After that it’s a bunch of crap. So saying he’s outplayed them isn’t saying much
He doesn’t play in Big 10. Agree he’s played well. But I believe the question was related to Big QBsYou’re overlooking Sorsby who has played great this year.
That back shoulder throw was on point to Hunter. Bro just wasn't ready for it.Going to force Holgorsen to trust Lateef. We didn’t give him much of a chance last night. He can be a lot better. The one downfield pass they let him throw actually looked great.
