To be honest, I am feeling pretty good after the first half of that

Northwestern got the ball first and we go into halftime with the lead

Despite the long drive they went on in the 2nd quarter, TOP is essentially a wash (15:43 for NW, 14:17 for NU)

We are moving the ball at will on the ground

Northwestern got extremely lucky with a ball on the ground and two tipped passes all avoiding a turnover

Despite the missed a FG and TO in opposing territory we’re still up 7-6

NU is the better team here.. just need to not mentally fold. Come out and get some points on the board to start the third quarter (even three would be great) and get a stop and we’re cooking with gas. Just need to make NW try to open it up a bit on offense
We've been the better team a lot over the last decade and still find ways to lose games. Vomit!

Yeah, my main takeaway is that he’s not even trying. He had a whole offensive system that he’s run forever, and he just decides not to run it??
We don't want the fun and gun. We insist on building an offense around a quarterback that can't move, that can't hit a deep ball, with a line that can't pass block on the edge. Raiola is talented, but needs a clean pocket. In our case, he needs a heavy dose of running game to keep defenses honest and be effective. We refuse to stick with the formula.

Yeah, I really don’t get it. Is it Rhule telling him he can’t run the air raid??

But we still love the Huskers....no matter how many times they kick us square in the nutz we still love them.
My wife who is a UM fan said to me during the first half that I am like the wife or GF who is abused by her partner but comes back time after time giving them another chance. About as good a description of being a Husker fan that I’ve seem
