I don’t think they will be favored in a single B1G game on that schedule
Counterpoint - whats new if you're Rutgers. Probably Michigan State at home, they would probably be a slight favorite at camp randall this year

Big Ten has been pretty good about scheduling rutgers into good situational spots over the past few years to help them out after years in the East. They'll probably catch Cockeye or us at home on a Friday or off a bye.

Gives you the option to back track if the numbers don’t look good. Unlikely at this point, they’re gonna move heaven and earth to find the money, but imagine the fsu fan meltdown if they decided he’s too expensive to fire this year. 🤣
Not only is he expensive to fire but hiring his replacement will be expensive as well.

FSU is proper fucked.

Easier to get kids into to state unis than ND, otherwise the set up at ND is as good or better than just about anywhere else

As of the last 2 years ND has the easiest path to the playoffs of any team. Marcus Freeman is very popular with their fans, admin, boosters. And lastly they have more than enough money to meet or beat any financial package. Maybe (huge maybe) I could see Ohio St hiring him away. But as we’ve seen going home to your Alma mater is big gamble. Especially when you’re already the coach of Notre Dame.

Just on the surface, if your plan A, when firing your current coach is to hire away Notre Dame’s coach without a firm behind the scenes agreement. You gotta be one one of dumbest mother fuckers on the planet. That’s an insanely stupid plan.
