Nebraska (5-2) will have a talented group of prospects on campus for Saturday’s Big Ten game against Northwestern (5-2).

Head coach Matt Rhule and his staff aim to add to the 2026 class while continuing to build on a 2027 haul that has a chance to finish Top 10 nationally.

Charlotte (NC) Myers Park defensive lineman Damaad Lewis is one of the headliners on campus. The Huskers look to be battling Florida State for the 2026 prospect. Rivals ranks Lewis as the nation’s No. 43 edge rusher.

Nebraska is looking to beat FSU for four-star safety and Seminoles commit Tedarius Hughes. The Miami (Fla.) Northwestern product has been to several Hurricanes games this year and the Huskers are another he’s keeping warm. Rivals ranks Hughes as the No. 26 safety in the class.

Nebraska heads into the weekend with 11 commits in the 2026 cycle. Four-star cornerback pledge Danny Odem will be back.

It’s a star-studded group expected in 2027. The Huskers have the No. 4 class in the country early in the cycle and prized quarterback commit Trae Taylor will be back. As will the nation’s No. 2 safety Tory Pittman and offensive lineman Matt Erickson.

A few talented running backs will visit headlined by Rolesville (NC) High four-star Amir Brown. Nebraska is already trending for local tailback Kylonn Hayne.

At the wide receiver position the country’s No. 6 ranked receiver Quentin Hale is one of the headliners. Four-star and former Penn State commit Khalil Terry is a major target. Nebraska has an early offer out to Justyn Lindsay.

Rivals 300 offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo is one of the headliners at the point of attack. Rockford (Ill.) Guilford edge rusher Keysan Taylor is one of the Midwest’s best. Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances edge Jayden Travers has several offers.

Nebraska is in early on St. Louis University 2028 linebacker Anthony Busby.
