Its funny... last week I would've been absolutely positive that Nebraska was about to go 1-1 in their next two. Ironically, I thought they would beat Minnesota and then lose to Northwestern after everybody stroked their egos for a week and acted like Northwestern had ZERO shot to win the game.
Call me crazy, but I think the reverse now happens and this team shows up prepared and ready to compete - which leads to a win.
I'm also one of the few fans who is thankful we can put the stupid playoff talk to rest. It was dumb when they were 3-0. It was dumb at 5-1. and I think it will be dumb when they are 6-2 and some idiots bring it up again as a "possibility" if they can beat USC.
This is a flawed team, but there are still a lot of opportunities for improvement and success.
