That's after 4 games. On pace for 58 sacks allowed in Big Ten play. I'm guessing that would smash all kinds of records.

Sign Up Now!Remember when Rocco Spindler (to be fair to him he has played well this year) said we would be up for the Joe Moore award?? 🤣I got sold on the preseason "Offensive line is the strength of the team" line

Shows how thin we are at RB that coaches getting paid millions of dollars, under tremendous stress to win, and see all of practice have concluded we cant play a 2nd RB more than a handful of touches. Losing Dowdell hurt. One of the biggest failures IMO is not remotely attempting to develop a second (and third) running back in any form during the first half of the season. Even the games against Akron and HCU Emmett was getting 15+ carries on top of the receiving targets. As a result we have not only a shitty offensive line but one, very undersized RB who can’t pass pro and we’re still dropping back 35+ times per game. It’s pretty crazy to watch unfold
And that's with the top 3 teams in the league not even on our schedule.
We got Jaishawn Barham and Derrick Moore of Michigan PAID. They'll be at least day 2 picks off the film they farmed against us alone. What's even worse is Michigan State doesn't have a pass rush. It's been terrible all season. Minnesota hasn't recorded a sack the last two weeks, and had been largely ineffective against power conference teams.
I had that same thought that no wonder the DL and O Line suck. Iron sharpens iron but it looks more like aluminum to me.To be fair to the OL, they developed this confidence going against our DL.
I think DR should transfer after this season. He tried to save this thing and Rhule blew it. I don’t see a break through next year with the schedule and talent we have coming back.Unc & nephew contributing to that sack record. I’m sure Dylan wants to be a first rounder & if he transfers, I’d expect Donnie’s shit to be on the lawn
I'd reverse the order on that... Put Donnie's shit on the lawn, and hope that Dylan realizes that's the ONLY way he can become a first rounder in the first place. If he decides he'd rather leave out of loyalty to his uncle, it's still worth it to get a real OL coach. Our team, our offense, Dylan's development and future career, none of it works if Donnie is the foundation of it all.Unc & nephew contributing to that sack record. I’m sure Dylan wants to be a first rounder & if he transfers, I’d expect Donnie’s shit to be on the lawn
I’ve seen nothing from the OC or DC to tell me they deserve any deference.I think DR should transfer after this season. He tried to save this thing and Rhule blew it. I don’t see a break through next year with the schedule and talent we have coming back.
Upgrade: OL, TE, RB, LB, DL, DC
Rhule needs to let an OC and DC bring in all the assistants they want vs gimping them with his guys.
