Raiola is a good QB no doubt but he's good with an o line which unfortunately we don't have and won't definitely for the rest of the season. We need someone with speed. I'm not saying just throw lateef in there but at least try him at some point to see if it helps.

Not to mention we pressured and sack the shit out him all game. Throwing into 35 mph winds while under constant pressure is a real sumbitch. He’s good player and I think he’ll will play well against the rest of their schedule.

ile QB do you want over Raiola? Pavia? Underwood? Jalon Daniels? Taylen Green? Arch Manning? John Mateer? Nico?Maybe I’d take Mateer over him in this offense. I don’t think you could run this offense with Pavia or Underwood. Manning has been awful. Taylen Green..I dunno. As a KU follower I love Daniels but he’s an absolute rollercoaster. Nico looked phenomenal last week but awful otherwise.
Raiola has been really good despite protection breakdowns. He gets the offense in the right plays. Does hold the ball too long sometimes though. But I think he’s pretty damn good. He also shoulders the expectations that comes with a blue blood fish bowl program that has a fan base that is basically leaning on him to bring them back to relevancy. Not something to discount.

He has looked pretty good. 1200+ yards, 12 TDs, 1 Int and a rating of 174.4. Not to mention the team he plays for beat Kansas two weeks ago and a ranked Cockeye State team on Saturday.
We’d said we needed to see what Cincinnati was to figure out what week one meant. They’re 4-1 and look pretty decent.
